Fellowship Opportunities

Zion has a rich history of providing opportunity for Christian Fellowship through events that foster communion and togetherness along with special recognition and support of all ages and groups. Some of our fellowship opportunities include:

BIBLE & BISCUITS - This is a great group of men that meet every Thursday morning in the FLC for biscuits and a devotion. Contact Steve Shumpert with questions.
COFFEE & FELLOWSHIP - The congregation gathers each Sunday morning during the fall and winter between Early Worship and Sunday School for a light breakfast in the Family Life Center (FLC).
HILLTOPPERS - The senior adults meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month for a covered dish luncheon. It's a great time for food and fellowship! Hilltoppers meet in the FLC. Contact Edith Clark with questions.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE - During the school year, we gather each Wednesday for supper and fellowship at 5:45 pm and then have classes for all ages from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. This fall our adults are focusing on Faith Formation & Fellowship Small Groups and have their choice of three groups - Bible Study and Discussion led by Pastor Nathan, How Lutherans Interpret the Bible led by Bill Mitcham, and a Current Events Group led by Steve Hendrix. Children in nursery through 3rd Grade will participate in music and crafts. Grades 4 and 5 will have their own activities which may include projects for shut-ins and other off-site events. Youth in grades 6-12 will have classes led by Walt Hampton and Troy Fite. Join us for mid-week fun!
WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP - These ladies meet every Monday morning at 9:00 am at the Chick-Fil-A Saluda Pointe for breakfast and fellowship. Contact Eileen Leaphart at with questions.
HIGH SCHOOL BIBLE STUDY - Time for coffee and prayer before school. Meeting at 7:00am on fridays during the school year at the Lowes Food coffee shop. This is an awesome opportunity to center your day on Christ as you finish your week and begin the weekend.
