Interim Pastor
Kathleen Miko​
Pastor Kathleen came to South Carolina in 2003 to attend Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary from Arizona. She received her M.Div in 2007 and was ordained that same year.

Pastor Kathleen has served in the SC Synod for over three years at the Heritage at Lowman. She came to SC from the Virginia Synod, serving a two-point parish in the Shenandoah Valley, and at Brandon Oaks, a Lutheran Retirement Community in Roanoke.
She currently lives in Chapin SC with her dog AnnE, and cat Nora. She enjoys walking and hiking and hopes to get back to golfing one or two days a week.

Julie is a graduate of Newberry College where she studied Church Music. Julie joined the staff of Zion in 2015 and lives in Lexington with her husband, Heath and their three kids.

Walt Hampton
​
Walt started doing Youth Ministry in his home church in eastern Pennsylvania, where he got involved in Synod Youth Ministry & became the Vice President of the Lutheran Youth Organization of the ELCA. Walt attended Eastern University where he studied Youth Ministry & Biblical Studies. He and his wonderful wife, Jamie, moved to South Carolina in 2010 & enjoy being outdoors, day trips to the beach or mountains, watching movies, and playing with their sons, Jack and Isaac. They are excited to be a part of the Zion family!
