Emily Hartmann
​​​Pastor Emily is new to Zion, starting in August 2024. She is a graduate of Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary and Rutgers University. Pastor Emily lives in Irmo with her kids, Ben and Olivia. She has previously served churches in Spartanburg and Batesburg-Leesville as well as on the staff of the South Carolina Synod.​

Julie is a graduate of Newberry College where she studied Church Music. Julie joined the staff of Zion in 2015 and lives in Lexington with her husband, Heath and their three kids.

Walt Hampton
​
Walt started doing Youth Ministry in his home church in eastern Pennsylvania, where he got involved in Synod Youth Ministry & became the Vice President of the Lutheran Youth Organization of the ELCA. Walt attended Eastern University where he studied Youth Ministry & Biblical Studies. He and his wonderful wife, Jamie, moved to South Carolina in 2010 & enjoy being outdoors, day trips to the beach or mountains, watching movies, and playing with their sons, Jack and Isaac. They are excited to be a part of the Zion family!
